Shadow Nursing Inc, was originally conceived in 2005, as the brainchild of a practicing nurse. The name Shadow Nursing was inspired by a friend of hers who wanted to go out with her and shadow her while performing her nursing duties. Shadow Nursing, Inc. emerged as a program to provide newly-hired graduated nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants the opportunity to develop, enhance, and increase their skills in the medical profession by providing on-the-job supervised training via Licensed Nurses. We provide the experience and on-the-job training needed at a slower rate with self-paced procedures, all within a less stressful environment. Throughout their assigned work week nurses receive guidance and support, familiarization with clinical skills, which includes patient assessment, documentation, medication administration and patient care.
